Job Description
The Reservation Manager is responsible to ensure the effective operation of the Reservations department and reassuring that all company standards of quality and cleanlines are maintained at all times whilst meeting the needs of the business.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
Supervises all Reservation staff to ensure accurate status of room availability at all times, Advises Revenue manager & Front Office manager of any status changes,Spot checks daily on following day arrivals, Priority membership, airport pickup, payment methods etc, and other special requests,Coordinates with Sales & Marketing and Front Office sections and updates them on any changes in rates, promotions or packages, Promotes hotel facilities and services both locally and world-wide to all callers, Participates actively in both departmental budget elaboration and goals program and Ensures Upselling of Reservations whenever possible.

Qualifications
- A degree in Business Administration/MBA is preferred
- Previous Reservation management experience is preferred
- Good understanding of the local business and operation environments and markets
- Service minded and ability to involve and support operations
- Business savvy and good people skills
- Experience in emerging markets / similar hard locations
- Visionary & strategic thinker and ability to convert this to action
